Eugene Vindman served in the U.S. Army from 1997 to 2022. Vindman earned a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York, Binghamton and a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.
A veteran, father, husband, and immigrant, he seeks to protect democracy, restore freedoms, and support community prosperity. Key issues in his campaign include stopping MAGA abortion bans, preserving democracy, passing gun safety legislation, and strengthening infrastructure. Vindman is motivated by his experience of being fired from the White House for whistleblowing on President Trump’s actions regarding Ukraine. He emphasizes the importance of defending rights and freedoms against extremist threats.
