Jaclyn Zimmermann is an attorney, mediator, small-business owner, public-school parent, and Missouri State Representative running for reelection in House District 98.
A lifelong Missourian, Jaclyn grew up in Steelville before attending Missouri State University and earning her law degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. She now lives in Manchester with her husband, Todd, and their three sons.
For more than a decade, Jaclyn has built her legal career around helping Missouri workers navigate discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage disputes, and other workplace challenges. As a practicing attorney and small-business owner, she understands both the responsibilities of running a business and the importance of protecting the people whose work keeps Missouri’s economy moving.
Those experiences shape how she represents HD-98 in Jefferson City.

Public education is especially personal for Jaclyn. Her three sons attend public schools, giving her firsthand experience with the challenges facing Missouri families, teachers, and neighborhood schools.
She also brings a practical perspective to economic policy. As both a small-business owner and an attorney who has represented workers against large corporations, Jaclyn believes Missouri can support entrepreneurship while still making sure working people receive fair wages, benefits, protections, and opportunities to succeed.
Jaclyn first won HD-98 in 2024, demonstrating that West St. Louis County voters were ready for Democratic representation in Jefferson City.
Now she is running for another term to protect that progress, continue delivering for working families, and make sure HD-98 has a representative who understands the community not just as a legislator, but as a parent, professional, and neighbor.
Her campaign specifically emphasizes public-school funding and teacher pay, reproductive autonomy, Medicaid expansion and healthcare affordability, worker protections, public safety, local control, fiscal stewardship, and government transparency.
I am a strong advocate for education, women's reproductive rights, and common sense gun legislation. My children currently attend public schools, so I know firsthand the difficulties public schools are facing in Missouri, including low teacher pay. I am a strong advocate for public education, and I want to strengthen the public school system in Missouri, not weaken it.
