Blake Gendebien is a husband, father of three boys, second-generation dairy farmer, small business owner, and community leader. Born and raised in New York’s North Country, Blake has spent his life deeply connected to the people, agriculture, and small businesses that drive the region.
In addition to running his family’s dairy farm, he has served as Vice Chair of the Cooperative Board of Agri-Mark, a major dairy cooperative. He is also a Lisbon Central School Board Member and a founder of a nonprofit organization supporting children with pediatric cancer and their families. His hands-on experience in farming, education, and philanthropy has shaped his deep commitment to service and practical solutions for the district.
Blake Gendebien is running for Congress in New York’s 21st District because he believes that Washington has neglected North Country communities. Over the last six years, the district has lost more than 700 local dairy farms, forcing families to seek opportunities elsewhere. Blake sees this as unacceptable and is committed to revitalizing the local economy, protecting family farms, and creating sustainable jobs.
